Dare to Thrive in Tech

We have teamed up with the Advisory Council for Foreigners of the City of Zurich again for a unique event about enabling migrants and refugees in tech to thrive. 🎉

Switzerland’s tech sector is facing a talent shortage—yet many skilled professionals with a migration background remain underrepresented. This event explores how international talent can turn their unique experiences into career strengths, while industry leaders learn how to better support and champion migrant professionals.

Join us to hear real stories, gain practical strategies, expand your network, and help shape a more inclusive, future-ready workforce.

Hello 50:50 World in Zurich: Designed to Fit – But for Whom?

Rethinking Inclusive Service Design

Inclusive design is often misunderstood. Many organizations treat accessibility as an afterthought—a box to check rather than a fundamental design principle. But true inclusion isn’t just about compliance—it’s about rethinking how we design services, systems, and experiences from the start.

This event will explore how exclusion happens by default when we design for the majority. We assume we know what people need, but what if our assumptions are the biggest barrier to real inclusion?

Join us for an insightful session with Selina Finsler, Graduate M.A. in Service Design HSLU. Selina’s journey shows how inclusive design is not just about disability—it’s about designing for human diversity.
